Match your sequence
In Edit Credits, set the same frame size and frame rate as your Premiere sequence. Keep those settings when exporting.
- 02
Choose the right file
For credits on black, export H.264 or ProRes 422 HQ. For credits over picture, choose ProRes 4444 with Transparent background. H.264 does not carry an alpha channel.
- 03
Import the result
In Premiere Pro, use File → Import and select the downloaded MP4 or MOV. Drag it from the Project panel to your sequence.
- 04
Place and watch
Put opaque credits at the end of your edit. Put a transparent MOV on a video track above picture. Check timing, first and last frames, and playback at full resolution.
Which export should I choose?
- MP4 / H.264
- A compact preview or opaque credit sequence.
- MOV / ProRes 422 HQ
- An opaque master for finishing.
- MOV / ProRes 4444
- A master with alpha when Transparent background is selected.
- PNG sequence
- Individual frames. Import as an image sequence and confirm its interpreted frame rate.
Revise names and layout in Edit Credits, export a new version, then replace or relink the file in your edit.
