01 / 04Start with structure

Roles and names already know where to go.

Typed blocks keep the edit, preview and final render on the same geometry.

02 / 04Shape the roll

One column becomes two. Then three.

Reflow a long credit list without rebuilding it. The roll remains readable and balanced.

03 / 04Choose the voice

Change the type, not the content.

Switch the typographic system and aspect ratio while every credit stays attached to its role.

04 / 04Break the grid

Music, legal and freeform belong in the same timeline.

Use purpose-built blocks when a simple role and name pair is not enough.

/ Motion, on your terms

A roll does not have to move in a straight line.

Add keyframes, holds and smooth acceleration without leaving the shared Preview/export path.

/ Practical answers

Before you build the roll.

Short answers about importing, editing and exporting film and television end credits.

Read the spreadsheet guide
Can I import end credits from Excel or Google Sheets?

Yes. Edit Credits accepts XLSX, XLS, CSV and TSV files, plus public Google Sheets shared by link. Import analysis uses the full sheet structure to propose editable credit blocks.

Do I need to use a credits template?

No rigid template is required. Keeping roles near names, department headings intact and production notes in a separate column gives the importer clearer evidence.

What happens when a spreadsheet row is ambiguous?

The importer keeps source-backed content editable and flags genuine ambiguity for review instead of silently discarding the cell. You can correct the proposed structure before export.

Can I make static title cards and rolling credits?

Yes. A project can use static cards, rolling credits or a mixed timeline, with purpose-built blocks for roles and names, groups, music, legal text, freeform layouts and logos.

Can one role contain several editable names?

Yes. Several people can share one role while each name remains independently editable, reorderable and available to the layout system.

Which export formats are supported?

Edit Credits exports H.264 MP4, ProRes 422 HQ, ProRes 4444 with optional transparency, PDF approval cards and PNG sequences.

Do I need an account?

You can open and try the editor without registration. A verified sign-in is required to persist saved projects and their version history.

Your credits are already waiting.

No registration to try it. Imported credits remain editable as the project takes shape.
